ISTANBUL (AA) - Austrian forward Yusuf Demir has moved to Barcelona from Rapid Vienna on loan for the 2021-22 season, the Spanish football cub confirmed on Friday.
"Barca is paying 500,000 euros ($593,480) for the operation and holds a non-mandatory option to purchase for €10 million about ($11.86 million)," the club said in a statement.
The 18-year-old will take his medical and fitness tests along with nine other Barca B players and will start training with the first team on Monday for the next season, the statement said.
Demir played for Rapid Vienna senior team for two seasons, making 38 appearances and netting nine goals. He debuted for Austria’s national team in March.
