ANKARA (AA) – The Austrian Grand Prix will stay on the Formula One calendar for a further four years, the organizers said on Wednesday.
"It has been announced that Formula 1 will continue to race in Austria until 2027 after a new four-year agreement was reached with the promoter," the Formula 1 statement read.
The Austrian GP, which returned to F1 World Championship in 2014, is held at Spielberg's 4.318-kilometer (2.68-mile) Red Bull Ring.
The 2023 Austrian Grand Prix, the Round 10 of this season, will be held on July 2, and it will be the 10th anniversary of its return to the Formula 1 calendar.
The 2023 Formula 1 World Championship started in Bahrain with the race on March 5.
