ISTANBUL (AA) - Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Belarusian counterpart, Sergey Aleinik, discussed cooperation Thursday in bilateral and multilateral platforms.
The discussion focused on cooperation in various fields, according to a statement by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
“Bayramov highlighted the effective collaboration that considers the interests of both countries, whether in bilateral or multilateral initiatives,” it said.
He emphasized the importance of productive cooperation that takes into account the interests of both nations.
In addition, Aleinik referred to the longstanding collaboration that currently exists in agriculture, tourism and transportation.
“Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated Minister Aleinik on his recent appointment and emphasized the presence of fruitful contacts at all levels,” said the statement.
Aleinik expressed contentment with the observance of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, which he said was commemorated through various noteworthy events.
Both ministers engaged in discussions on other matters of mutual relevance during the talks.
