BAKU (AA) – Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas held a phone conversation on Friday, discussing bilateral relations, regional security, and international issues, according to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
During the call, the officials reviewed the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-EU relations, highlighting the importance of strengthening political dialogue through mutual visits and diplomatic engagement.
Both sides acknowledged the significant potential for expanding cooperation and exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest.
Azerbaijan and the EU have been engaged in discussions on energy, trade, and regional security, with Baku playing a key role in Europe’s energy diversification efforts.
