ISTANBUL (AA) - Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan on Thursday signed a military cooperation plan for 2024 in the Uzbek city of Bukhara, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Before the signing of the agreement, Azerbaijan's Defense Minister Col. Gen. Zakir Hasanov met Uzbekistan's Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Bakhodir Kurbanov, and exchanged views on the development of cooperation between the two countries.
Prospects were explored in the military, military-technical and military education fields besides discussion on other issues of mutual interest.
