ANKARA (AA) - Lithuania's Zalgiris Kaunas confirmed on Tuesday the signing of French center Joffrey Lauvergne on a one-year contract.
''Zalgiris fans will see yet another new face in green-and-white, as the Lithuanian champions have signed a one-year deal with French center Joffrey Lauvergne,'' the club said in a statement.
The 28-year-old has played for Elan Chalon, Valencia Basket, Partizan Belgrade, and Moscow Region Khimki in Europe.
He has also remained a part of Denver Nuggets, Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs in NBA.
Lauvergne spent his last two seasons at Turkish basketball club Fenerbahce Beko, and averaged 6.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
