ANKARA (AA) - Barcelona's Argentine forward Sergio Aguero will reveal his future plans on Wednesday after suffering a heart problem in October.
"Sergio Kun Aguero will give a statement on his future from Camp Nou at 12pm CET (1100GMT) on Wednesday December 15. The first-team football player will be joined by FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta," Barcelona on Tuesday said on Twitter.
Aguero, 33, was taken to a hospital for cardiologic tests after complaining of chest pain during a Spanish La Liga match against Alaves on Oct. 30.
In November, Barcelona said that Aguero would be unavailable for at least three months after the tests.
It was reported that Aguero faced cardiac arrhythmia.
In July, Barcelona signed Aguero from Manchester City on free transfer.
This season Aguero played five matches to score one goal.
Aguero started his professional career in Argentina's Independiente, then in 2006 he moved to Atletico Madrid.
In 2011, Aguero joined Manchester City to play for the English club for 10 years.
Aguero won the 2010 UEFA Europa League title with Atletico Madrid.
In addition, he is a five-time English champion.
Separately, Aguero helped Argentina win the 2021 Copa America trophy.
