Barcelona signed US power forward Jabari Parker from NBA on Monday, the Spanish basketball club said.
In a statement, Barcelona on Monday said the club and Parker "have reached an agreement for the North American to join the team for a season pending a medical."
Parker, 28, who was born in Chicago, was chosen second in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, where he played until 2018.
After his four-year stint at the Bucks, Parker signed for his home town team, the Chicago Bulls.
Parker also played for the Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics.
In 2014-2022, Parker played in 310 NBA games – including 190 starts – to average 14.1 points in 27.5 minutes per match.
In January 2022, the Celtics waived Parker.
In July, Barcelona acquired Spain center Willy Hernangomez, who also arrived from the NBA.
