ANKARA (AA) - Medipol Basaksehir beat Ittifak Holding Konyaspor 2-1 in a postponed Super Lig match on Tuesday.
The visitors took a 1-0 lead in the first half, thanks to Zymer Bytyqi's goal at Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul.
Basaksehir came from behind in the second half with Fredrik Gulbrandsen and Musa Cagiran (own goal) to seal a remarkable win for the Champions League qualification.
Following this victory, third-placed Basaksehir reduced the gap to three points with Konyaspor, who are in the second spot with 49 points.
The game had been postponed after Konyaspor's Turkish defender Ahmet Calik died in a road accident on Jan. 11.
