ANKARA (AA) - Turkish football team Basaksehir beat Austria's Wolfsberger 1-0 in a UEFA Europa League match on Thursday.
Neither teams was able to break the deadlock in the first half.
In the 78th minute of the match, Turkish national midfielder Irfan Can Kahveci's goal brought victory to his team at Istanbul's Fatih Terim Basaksehir Stadium.
The Istanbul club gained their first win in the Europa League group stages this season.
Italy's Roma drew with Germany's Borussia Monchengladbach 1-1 in another match of Group J.
Basaksehir jumped to the second spot with four points following the night's victory as Roma currently tops Group J with five points.
Wolfsberger stand at third place with four points and Borussia Monchengladbach are at the bottom of the group with only two points.
