ANKARA (AA) – Russian basketball powerhouse CSKA Moscow announced the signing of Tornike Shengelia on Thursday.
The Georgian player inked a three-year deal with CSKA Moscow. He played for the Spanish team KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz before his departure for Russian club.
Shengelia, 28, helped Baskonia to secure the league title in 2020.
He averaged 15.9 points and 5.6 rebounds in 28 EuroLeague games in the 2019-2020 season before it was canceled over the coronavirus outbreak.
