ANKARA (AA) - Bayern Munich took over the leadership in Bundesliga standings, respectively after weekend matches in Europe.
Union Berlin hammered by Leverkusen 0-5 in German Bundesliga, while Real Madrid yet to play with Rayo Vallecano in Spanish La Liga on Monday.
Arsenal kept their place at the English Premier League summit by beating Chelsea 1-0 in the London derby.
Napoli in Italian Serie A and Paris Saint-Germain in French Ligue 1 widened the points gap between their opponents and maintained their leadership in their respective leagues.
- English Premier League
Arsenal beat Chelsea 1-0 in the London derby in the week 15 of the English Premier League. Arsenal, which increased its points to 34, maintained its leadership, while Chelsea remained on 21 points.
Struggling for the summit, Manchester City defeated Fulham 2-1 at home. Norwegian star Erling Haaland, brought the victory to his team with a penalty goal he scored in the 95th minute.
Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1, while Aston Villa beat Manchester United 3-1.
While Arsenal continues to lead the standings with 34 points in the Premier League, the reigning champions Manchester City have 32, Newcastle United 27, Tottenham 26 and Manchester United 23.
- Spanish La Liga
In the week 13 of the Spanish La Liga, Barcelona defeated Almeria 2-0 in the match played in home.
In the match, the most important detail came to the fore as Gerard Pique, who has been playing in Barcelona for the last 15 years, ended his professional football career.
Pique, who started in the first eleven as the team captain of the Spanish powerhouse, then replaced by Andreas Christensen in the 83rd minute with the applause of almost 90,000 fans in Camp Nou stands.
Pique, who played his 616th game in Barcelona and won 30 trophies, became the 5th player to play the most matches in the club's history.
In the last match of the week 13 of La Liga, Real Madrid will be the guest of Rayo Vallecano this evening.
With the victory in La Liga, Barcelona increased its points to 34 and became the leader of the match, ahead of Real Madrid which have 32.
- Italian Serie A
In the match played in the Italian Serie A, the leader Napoli defeated their closest opponent in the stanidngs, Atalanta 2-1.
Host Atalanta took the lead 1-0 with Ademola Lookman's penalty goal in the 19th minute. Leveling the score with Victor Osimhen in the 23rd minute, Napoli reached the victory with the goal of Eljif Elmas in the 35th minute.
Napoli, under the management of Luciano Spalletti, increased its points to 35 with this win, while Atalanta, in second place, had 27 points.
Juventus defeated Inter Milan 2-0. With this win, Juventus made 25 points and moved up to 5th place by overtaking their rival Inter. The black and white team extended their winning streak to 4 matches.
Inter suffered their fifth defeat in the league this season and ranked 7th with 24 points. Nerazzuri, whose four-game winning streak has come to an end, fell 11 points behind the leader Napoli after this week's results.
In the capital derby, Lazio beat Roma 1-0 . With this result, Lazio increased their points to 27 and took the 3rd place in the table, 8 points behind the leader Napoli. Roma, which had their fourth defeat in the league this season, remained on 25 points and regressed to 6th place.
Milan defeated Spezia 2-1 at home. With this win, Milan made 29 points and moved up to the second place after Atalanta lost points.
In Serie A, Napoli with 35 points is followed by Milan with 29 points, Lazio and Atalanta with 27 points.
- German Bundesliga
Bayern Munich defeated Hertha Berlin 3-2 in away game, increased their points to 28 and took the top seat in German Bundesliga.
Union Berlin, which entered the week as the league leaders, hammered by Bayer Leverkusen 0-5 and regressed to 3rd place on the standings.
Borussia Dortmund beat Bochum 3-0 at home.
After week 13 in Bundesliga, the leader Bayern Munich with 28 points was followed by Freiburg with 27 points, Union Berlin with 26 points and Borussia Dortmund with 25 points.
- French Ligue 1
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won 2-1 against Lorient in the French Ligue 1.
Lens defeated Angers 2-1, while Olympique Marseille defeated Olympique Lyon 1-0.
With 38 points, the undefeated PSG continue their lead, while Lens with 33 points took the second place and Rennes with 28 points took the third place. These teams are followed by Olympic Marseille and Monaco with 27 points.
