ANKARA (AA) — Barcelona cemented their leadership in the Spanish LaLiga Sunday after beating Espanyol 3-1 in a local week 12 derby.
Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo rallied Barca to victory with his two goals, in minutes 12 and 31 at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium.
Brazilian winger Raphinha netted the hosts' other goal in the 23rd minute, while Spanish attacker Javi Puado tallied Espanyol's single goal in the 63rd minute.
Barcelona are at the top of the LaLiga standings with 33 points, while Espanyol are in 17th with 10 points.

In another LaLiga week 12 game that ended 2-0, Giuliano Simeone scored his first goal for Atletico Madrid in minute 37 against Las Palmas. Simeone is the son of Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone.
Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth netted the other goal in the 83rd minute for the hosts at Metropolitano Stadium.
Giuliano Simeone, 21, returned to Atletico from his loan spell at Alaves in June to appear in 10 games for the Madrid side.
Atletico Madrid are placed third in the league with 23 points, a single point behind 2nd-placed Real Madrid, while Las Palmas lay in the 18th spot with nine points.
