WARSAW (AA) - Belarusians residing in the Polish capital Warsaw organized protests Wednesday on the third anniversary of their country’s presidential elections.

Gathering at the Nicolaus Copernicus Monument in the city center, they waved the unofficial flag of their country, which is white and red.

They protested against Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, saying the 2020 presidential elections were rigged.

Slogans such as "Long live Belarus!" and "Free Belarus!" were chanted during the protests.
