Turkish football clubs Besiktas and Adana Demirspor each booked their places Thursday in the third-tier UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round.
A 10-man Besiktas beat Albania's Tirana 2-0 at Air Albania Stadium (Arena Kombetare) with second-half goals scored by Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey and Cameroonian forward Vincent Aboubakar.
In the 67th minute, Besiktas defender Arthur Masuaku was sent off after a foul. The Istanbul team were leading 1-0 at that moment.
Besiktas, who won 5-1 on aggregate, will play against Neftci Baku in the next round.
Adana Demirspor won against Romania's Cluj 2-1 to proceed in the Europa Conference League qualifiers thanks to a very late goal scored by Senegalese forward Cherif Ndiaye.
In the 43rd minute at Yeni Adana Stadium, David Akintola scored the opener for Adana Demirspor. Cluj defender Vasile Mogos leveled from the penalty spot in the 68th minute.
The Turkish club's French defender Andreaw Gravillon was shown a red card for his foul that caused a penalty.
In the 94th minute, Ndiaye scored the winner in a scramble in the area to take Adana Demirspor to the upcoming round.
Adana Demirspor will play against Croatia's Osijek in the third qualifying round.
The first leg matches will be held on Aug. 10 and the second legs will be played on Aug. 17.
