ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's Besiktas has been eliminated from UEFA Europa League after losing to Sweden's Malmo.
In the sixth and final week of the league Group I matches on Thursday, the Black Eagles was defeated by Malmo 0-1 at home in Istanbul.
Malmo's Antonsson scored the goal at 51st minute. Besiktas' Quaresma was sent off at 65th minute as he was shown red card.
In the other group match, Belgium's Genk beat Norway’s Sarpsborg 4-0 at home in Genk.
From Group I, Genk and Malmo have qualified for UEFA Europa League round 32.
The draw ceremony of UEFA Europa League round 32 will be held in UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday.
