WASHINGTON (AA) - US President Joe Biden's coronavirus symptoms have resolved and he tested negative, his doctor said Tuesday.
“Over the course of his infection, he never manifested a fever, and his vital signs remained normal, to include pulse oximetry. His lungs remained clear. BINAX rapid antigen testing is negative," Kevin O'Connor said in a statement distributed by the White House.
"He will continue to be monitored for any recurrence of illness. The President continues to perform all of his presidential duties," he added.
The White House announced last Wednesday that Biden tested positive while campaigning in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Biden is set to return to the White House later Tuesday.
