WASHINGTON (AA) - US President Joe Biden will travel to Germany and Angola from Oct. 10 - 15, the White House said Tuesday.
Biden will meet German leaders to strengthen relations, and express his appreciation to Germany for supporting Ukraine’s defense against Russia, spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.
From Oct.13 - 15, Biden will head to Luanda, Angola, where he will meet President Joao Lourenco to discuss increased collaboration on shared priorities, including bolstering economic partnerships and enhancing peace and security.
That visit "underscores the United States’ continued commitment to African partners, and demonstrates how collaborating to solve shared challenges delivers for the people of the United States and across the African continent," Jean Pierre added.
