ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye’s benchmark stock index, BIST 100, opened with a 0.51% increase on Monday, rising by 46.43 points to reach 9,155.77.
The index closed on Friday with a 2.37% gain, ending at 9,109.34 points and recording a daily trading volume of 78 billion Turkish liras ($2.29 billion).
As of 10.45 am local time (0745GMT), exchange rates for the Turkish lira stood at 34.2630 against the US dollar, 37.5760 against the euro, and 44.9315 against the British pound.
Meanwhile, the price of gold per ounce was $2,649.35, while Brent crude oil traded at approximately $78.60 per barrel.
