ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye’s benchmark stock index was up 0.62% or 54.97 points to 8,953.20 points at the opening session on Friday.
At Thursday's close, the index was down 1.27% to 8,898.23 points, with a daily transaction volume of 82 billion Turkish liras ($2.41 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 34.2485 as of 10.15 a.m. (0715GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 38.7845, and the GBP/TRY traded at 45.0350.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,660.30, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $77.70.
