ISTANBUL (AA) - The Bitcoin/US dollar exchange rate crossed $71,000 on Tuesday, according to coinmarketcap data.
It is close to $71,000 currently.
The rate crossed $73,000 in April and then dropped below $60,000.
The market cap of Bitcoin is at $1.4 trillion currently.
24-hour Bitcoin transactions totaled $53.3 billion, coinmarketcap's data showed.
