ISTANBUL (AA) - The body of one more worker has been found at the site of a landslide that occurred in Türkiye’s eastern Erzincan province in February, the energy and resources minister said on Tuesday.
“We have found the body of one of our worker brothers who were buried under the soil after the landslide,” Alparslan Bayraktar said on X and extended condolences to his family.
“We will continue our intensive work until we reach all our workers buried under the soil," Bayraktar said.
Nine workers went missing after a landslide at the gold mine site in Erzincan's Ilic district on Feb. 13. The bodies of two workers were found on April 5 and April 19, and the bodies of another two workers were found on May 4.
