ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened at 3,586.43 points on Wednesday, up 0.42%, or 14.88 points, from the previous close.
The BIST 100 index’s seven-session winning streak ended on Tuesday as it dropped 0.20% to close at 3,571.55 points, with a daily trading volume of 61 billion Turkish liras ($3.3 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 18.5843 as of 9.55 a.m. local time (0655GMT), while the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 18.0669, and a British pound traded for 20.4329 Turkish liras.
Brent crude oil was around $94.9 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was at $1,679.10.
