ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's stock exchange rose 794.73 points, or 0.69 percent, to open at 116,252.04 points on Wednesday.
The banking and holding sector indices increased by 0.60 percent and 0.50 percent, respectively.
All sector indices were up. The tourism index was the best performer, gaining 2.01 percent.
Turkey's benchmark stock index previously fell by 1.19 percent to close at 115,457.30 points on Tuesday, with a 7.5 billion-Turkish lira ($1.98 billion) trade volume.
The U.S. dollar-lira rate dropped to 3.7750 Turkish liras at 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT), compared with Tuesday's closing rate at 3.7830.
The euro-lira rate slightly increased to 4.6760 from Tuesday's close of 4.6730.
The price of Brent oil went up to $67.45 per barrel as of 10.20 a.m. local time (0720GMT) Wednesday, compared with $66.86 at the previous close.
