ANKARA (AA) - Borussia Dortmund beat Hoffenheim 1-0 in a German Bundesliga match Saturday to go three points clear at the top of the league table.
Visitors' German midfielder Julian Brandt scored the winner in the 43rd minute at Hoffenheim's PreZero Arena.
A Dortmund veteran, Marco Reus whipped a freekick into the area but the ball bounced off Brandt's back before going into the net.
Dortmund won seven straight matches to top Bundesliga with 46 points in 22 matches.
Hoffenheim are now near the relegation zone as they have 19 points.
Second-place Bayern Munich will take on third-place Union Berlin on Sunday at Munich's Allianz Arena. Both teams have 43 points.
Earlier Saturday RB Leipzig won against Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 at home and are fourth in the league with 42 points.
