SARAJEVO (AA) - Bosnian NGOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina urged the European Union Force (EUFOR) and NATO representatives to protect Bosnians living in the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia.

Major NGOs, including the well-known Mothers of Srebrenica, released an open letter that implored EUFOR and NATO to prevent physical attacks against Bosnians in Republika Srpska.

“If such attacks are not prevented, the Bosnians would organize to defend themselves,” it said.

Attacks against Bosnians in the Visegrad and Zvornik provinces of Republika Srpska have taken place in recent months.
