ANKARA (AA) - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Neymar is expected to return to the game in January, after the New Year, the club announced Saturday.
In a statement, the French football powerhouse said that following a left ankle sprain, Neymar is getting treatment, and the club anticipates the 28-year-old will return to play in January.
Neymar was injured in a home match against Olympique Lyon last weekend, and was visibly in pain as he left the pitch on a stretcher.
So far this season Neymar scored 9 goals and produced 5 assists in 12 appearances.
Generally playing on the left flank, Neymar is a PSG and Brazil regular.
