ISTANBUL (AA) — Brazil's producer price index fell 0.43% in November on a monthly basis, according to official data released on Thursday.
A total of 13 sectors out of 24 saw decline in prices, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) said in a report.
The largest monthly declines were recorded in extractive industries with 7.09%, followed by transportation equipment at 2.11%.
The producer price index in October showed an increase of 1.07% month-on-month.
On an annual basis, producer prices were down 0.52% in November, compared to the same month of last year.
