ISTANBUL (AA) - Brest secured a 4-0 shutout road victory against Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday in the second week of the UEFA Champions League.
Brest broke open the scoring with a close-range finish from Abdallah Sima in the 24th minute and doubled the lead when Mahdi Camara scored in the 66th minute at Stadion Salzburg.
Sima made it three in the 70th minute and Mathias Pereira Lage netted a long-range finish in the 75th minute.
When the match ended Brest was atop the table on goal difference with six points. Salzburg, who have no points, are at the bottom of the standings on matchday 2.
Stuttgart were held to a 1-1 draw against Sparta Praha and grabbed their first point at Arena Stuttgart in another match on Tuesday.
Enzo Millot scored for the German club in the seventh minute while Kaan Kairinen leveled in the 32nd minute.
Fourth-place Sparta Praha, meanwhile, collected four points.
