ISTANBUL (AA) - British teenager Emma Raducanu advanced to the US Open semifinals Wednesday with an easy win over Swiss star Belinda Bencic.
Raducanu, 18, defeated the Tokyo Olympic champion with sets of 6-3 and 6-4 at New York's Arthur Ashe Stadium.
She will face the winner of the match between Karolina Pliskova and Maria Sakkari.
In men's singles, world No. 4 Alexander Zverev qualified for the semifinals after beating Lloyd Harris in straight sets after two hours and six minutes.
Zverev, 24, will play against the winner of the Novak Djokovic-Matteo Berrettini match in the semis.
