ISTANBUL (AA) – The Milwaukee Bucks snapped the Houston Rockets' seven-game winning streak with a 123-114 win as Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 41 points and 17 rebounds.
The Bucks had a three-point advantage at the end of the first half with 26-23 at Houston's Toyota Center on Friday night.
The Rockets led the NBA game by seven points at halftime 65-58, but Milwaukee opened the third quarter with a 10-3 run to tie it at 68 points.
The Milwaukee trailed by eight early in the fourth quarter before producing the next 10 points, capped by a three-pointer from Giannis, to get 100-98 near the end of the fourth quarter.
Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis scored 21 points each while Pat Connaughton came off the bench to add 16 points for the Bucks.
For the Rockets, Christian Wood posted a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Garrison Mathews led his team with a season-high 23 points and made a career-best six three-pointers.
Armoni Brooks finished with 21 points for the Rockets.
Scoring 15 points in 15 minutes, Turkish international Alperen Sengun had the highest-scoring performance in the NBA.
The Bucks had a 17-10 win/loss record in the Western Conference.
