ANKARA (AA) - The Chicago Bulls took a 100-90 road win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday to snap their opponents' seven-game winning streak in the NBA regular season.
Bulls pair DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine combined for 64 points in Los Angeles' STAPLES Center.
DeRozan scored 35 points to be the top scorer of the game.
Meanwhile, LaVine racked up 29 points.
For the Clippers, Paul George scored 27 points and took 11 rebounds to make a double-double, and Eric Bledsoe added 21 points.
The Clippers lost for the first time since Oct. 29 when the Portland Trail Blazers beat them 111-92 in Portland, Oregon.
In two weeks, the Clippers won seven consecutive games, beating the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Charlotte Hornets, the Trail Blazers, the Miami Heat, and the Minnesota Timberwolves three times.
In the next fixture, the Bulls will visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Clippers will face the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday at home.
Sitting in the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings, Chicago won nine games but lost four others in the 2021-22 NBA season.
The LA Clippers have an 8-5 win/loss record to come sixth in the West.
- Hawks' star Young scores 42 points
The Atlanta Hawks thrashed the defending champions Milwaukee Bucks 120-100 as Trae Young scored 42 points to be the key player for the large win.
Hawks' star Young was very close for a triple-double as the 23-year-old guard also tallied 10 assists and eight rebounds.
He made eight three pointers during the Bucks game at State Farm Arena, Atlanta.
The Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 26 points.
