German Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich cemented their top spot by beating Union Berlin 3-0, while second spot holder Leipzig were hurt by Borussia Dortmund with 2-1 on Saturday.
In the week 9 match, the Bavarians' English striker Harry Kane scored twice; from a penalty kick in the 16th minute and with a vital touch in the mouth of the goal in the 51st minute at Allianz Arena.
French attacker Kingsley Coman netted the other goal of the hosts from a tight angle in the 43rd minute.
In another match day 9 rivalry on Saturday, Borussia Dortmund beat contenders Leipzig 2-1 at Signal Iduna Park.
Despite Leipzig's Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko bringing the lead to the visitors in the 27th minute, Dortmund managed to come back.
Dortmund's German striker Maximilian Beier equalized the score just three minutes after the Sesko's goal, then Guinean attacker Serhou Guirassy tallied the winning goal for the hosts in the 65th minute.
Bayern Munich have the top spot with 23 points, while Leipzig are just behind them with 20 points, Borussia Dortmund are at the 5th spot with 16 points and Union Berlin lay at the 7th spot with 15 points in the Bundesliga standings.
