ANKARA (AA) - Burnley’s game against Leicester City scheduled for Saturday has been postponed, the English Premier League announced on Friday.
In a statement, the Premier League Board announced that it has accepted Burnley’s application as the club does not have the required number of players available for the match due to COVID-19 cases and injuries.
In light of the recent rise in COVID-19 cases across the country, the Premier League has reintroduced emergency measures, including more frequent testing, wearing face coverings while indoors, observing social distancing and limiting treatment time.
