ANKARA (AA) - Cameroon booked a spot in the round of 16 at AFCON with an easy 4-1 victory against Ethiopia on Thursday.
Vincent Aboubakar and Karl Toko-Ekambi each scored to lead the hosts to the win while Dukele Dawa Hotessa was the lone scorer for Ethiopia.
Cameroon became the first team to reach the knockout stage, collecting six points in two matches.
Ethiopia sit at the bottom of Group A without any points.
In another Group A clash, Burkina Faso beat Cape Verde 1-0, jumping to second place with three points.
Cape Verde also have three points and is in third place in the group.
