ANKARA (AA) – Reigning champions AC Milan began the new Serie A season with a 4-2 victory over Udinese on Saturday.
Udinese took just two minutes to start the scoring in an enthralling first half as Rodrigo Becao headed them ahead from a corner.
Theo Hernandez equalized from the spot in the 11th minute, before Ante Rebic gave Milan the lead four minutes later.
Adam Masina’s diving header in stoppage time put the teams level at the break.
Milan wasted little time in regaining the advantage, a defensive blunder allowing Brahim Diaz a simple tap-in within seconds of the restart.
Rebic rounded off the win at the San Siro with his second goal of the night in the 68th minute.
