ANKARA (AA) – Amid reports the team is down to the bare minimum of players due to COVID-19, the Chicago Bulls' next two NBA games have postponed, the team announced on Monday.
Tuesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons and Thursday’s against the Toronto Raptors have both been postponed, the Bulls announced on their official website.
The Bulls are now down to the NBA minimum of eight healthy players after forward Alize Johnson tested positive for COVID-19 and entered league protocols on Monday, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said on Monday.
Ten players are currently in the NBA's Health and Safety Protocols – Alize Johnson, Zach LaVine, Coby White, Javonte Green, DeMar DeRozan, Matt Thomas, Derrick Jones Jr., Ayo Dosunmu, Stanley Johnson, and Troy Brown Jr. – along with additional staff members.
