GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – At least nine Palestinians, including a child, were killed on Friday when Israeli airstrikes targeted two vehicles, a residential home, and a gathering of civilians, medical sources reported.

Medical officials told Anadolu that four Palestinians, including a child, were killed, and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a home north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, with the casualties transported to Al-Awda Hospital.

Additionally, Gaza’s Baptist Hospital received the bodies of two Palestinians killed in an airstrike targeting a group of civilians in the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, the sources added.

In a separate statement, Gaza’s Civil Defense agency reported that “three Palestinians were killed when an Israeli strike targeted two civilian vehicles in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.”

Israel has continued a devastating offensive on Gaza since October last year despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.

More than 43,200 people have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 101,800 others injured, according to local health authorities.

Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its deadly war on Gaza.
