ANKARA (AA) – China launched 14 new satellites into space on Sunday using an indigenous Long March-2D rocket, official media reported.
The rocket blasted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern China's Shanxi province at 11.14 a.m. local time (0314GMT), according to state-run Xinhua News Agency.
The satellites, including Qilu-2 and Qilu-3, have successfully entered their planned orbits, it added.
This was the 462nd flight mission using the Long March rocket series, according to the report.
