ISTANBUL (AA) – China on Wednesday launched two new remote-sensing satellites into space.
Indigenously-built Long March-2C carrier rocket carried the satellites from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China’s Gansu province, public broadcaster CGTN reported.
The satellites belonged to the Yaogan-32 family. It was the 394th mission of the Long March rocket series.
Meanwhile, China’s two scientists won the country’s top science award on Wednesday, CGTN reported.
