ISTANBUL (AA) – China launched a group of remote-sensing satellites into space on Thursday.
The indigenously built Long March-2D carrier rocket launched with three satellites of the Yaogan-36 family from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, located in the southwestern province of Sichuan.
According to Beijing-based Xinhua News, the satellite is in pre-set orbit.
The launch was the 480th flight of the Long March carrier rockets.
