ISTANBUL (AA) - The Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for the Chinese manufacturing sector was at a three-month high level in November, increasing from 49.5 in October to 50.7 in November.
The Chinese manufacturing companies signaled a fresh improvement in the health of the sector last month, S%P Global said on Friday.
"A sustained rise in new orders helped lift factory production for the third time in the past four months, albeit marginally," it noted.
It added that new export business fell slightly, with firms linking this to subdued global demand.
S&P Global also highlighted that average input costs rose at a modest pace, while selling prices were broadly at the same level.
