ISTANBUL (AA) – China’s stealth fighter jet J35A Tuesday made its debut at an international aviation event in a southern city, state media reported.
The stealth fighter was put on display at the 15th Airshow China in the southern Chinese city of Zhuhai, where it also made flights during the show.
Beijing also unveiled its large-scale model of the new-generation J-20S stealth fighter jet.
Around 1,022 enterprises from 47 countries and regions are participating in the six-day aviation event in the capital of the Guangdong province.
Foreign aviation exhibitors at the event have increased to 159 this year from 78 in 2022.
Russia's Su-57 advanced stealth fighter jet is also attending the Airshow China for the first time.
Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoygu is expected to attend the Airshow China.
Shoygu is on a five-day official trip to China for the 19th round of the annual bilateral strategic security consultations with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
