ANKARA (AA) – A Chinese vice prime minister will travel to Washington to continue trade talks with U.S. counterparts, media reports said Tuesday.
Chinese Vice Premier Liu He will travel to the U.S. on the invitation of American officials, according to the English website of the Chinese News Service which cited a statement by the Chinese Commerce Ministry.
Last Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping met U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer in Beijing for a new round of China-U.S. high-level economic and trade consultations.
