Manchester City aim to beat rivals Manchester United in the upcoming English Premier League derby on Sunday.

The Sky Blues, just one point behind leaders Liverpool, are followed by Arsenal, which are only one point behind them as well.

The hosts, City, seem to have the upper hand as they have won four and lost only one of their last five games against Manchester United.

The Citizens hammered the Devils 3-0 at Old Trafford in the first match of the season in October 2023.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are not exactly having one of their best seasons.

United have 10 defeats in the Premier League this season, a total they have surpassed only twice in Premier League history.

With Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez all ruled out for the upcoming derby and Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount, Harry Maguire, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka all doubtful, the Red Devils have a lot to worry about in terms of fitness.

Despite these, the Red Devils, which lay at the sixth spot with 44 points, may have put their season back on track a little bit as they have won their last four Premier League games.

Reigning champions Manchester City may seem less worried in the fitness department as only Jack Grealish and JoskoGvardiol seem doubtful for the upcoming game.
