ANKARA (AA) – Climate activists on Wednesday sprayed orange paint in a square near the presidential palace Elysee in Paris.
The activists from Derniere Renovation denounced the government's inaction on climate-related issues.
In a tweet on X, it said: "In a beautiful country, decision-makers do not implement a discriminatory policy, do not ruin the future of its children and youth. In a beautiful country, the government adopts measures to protect us from climate emergency."
The group also shared videos of the protest carried out this morning on Beauvau Square, while the Council of Ministers meeting was held at the Elysee Palace.
Six activists sprayed orange paint on the ground and police rushed to stop them, the videos and photos showed.
