ISTANBUL (AA) - Co-hosts New Zealand were eliminated from the Women's World Cup on Sunday after a 0-0 draw with Switzerland in Group A.
In another Group A match, Norway hammered the Philippines 6-0 as Sophie Roman Haug scored a hat-trick at Auckland's Eden Park.
Switzerland finished the group stage on top with five points, ahead of second-place Norway and third-place New Zealand with four points each. The Philippines are at bottom of the table with three points.
The Swiss and Norway advanced to the last 16.
In Group H, Morocco grabbed a narrow win over South Korea with their first-ever World Cup goal from Ibtissam Jraidi.
Meanwhile, Morocco's Nouhaila Benzina became the first-ever footballer to wear a headscarf in a FIFA Women's World Cup tournament.
Colombia beat Germany 2-1 to jump to the top of Group H with six points. Germany are second and Morocco in third place with three points each.
South Korea remained without a point with one match remaining.
