IDLIB, Syria (AA) – A concert organized by the UK-based humanitarian group Syria Relief brought together thousands in the northwestern city of Idlib, offering a colorful display of joy.
The event, headlined by renowned Syrian singer Yahya Hawwa, featured anthems celebrating "revolution" and "resistance," with attendees waving Syrian revolution flags.
The concert was held as life gradually returns to normal in areas controlled by opposition groups.
The concert in Idlib followed another event in Aleppo, also organized by Syria Relief, where Hawwa performed for thousands the previous day.
A new administration led by Ahmed al-Sharaa has taken charge in the country after the fall of Bashar al-Assad, who fled to Russia after anti-regime groups took control of Damascus on Dec. 8.
