ANKARA (AA) - Mexico's consumer price index annually rose 7.99% in June, from the same month of last year, according to data released by the country's National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).
The market expectation for the figure was to show an annual gain of 7.95% last month, while it increased 7.65% in the month before.
On a monthly basis, consumer price index rose 0.84% in June, compared to the previous month, INEGI said on Thursday.
While the market estimate for the figure was to post a monthly gain of 0.81%, it rose 0.18% in May.
Producer price index, including oil, increased 0.86% at a monthly rate and 10.52% annually, according to INEGI.
