ANKARA (AA) - Thibaut Courtois signed a new contract with Real Madrid on Monday.
In a statement, Real Madrid said that the Belgian goalkeeper will remain tied to the club until June 30, 2026.
He joined the Spanish club from England's Chelsea in 2018.
Before Chelsea, Courtois, 29, played for Atletico Madrid in 2011-2014.
He won the 2012 UEFA Europa League with Atletico Madrid.
Courtois had two English Premier League titles with Chelsea in 2015 and 2017.
The Belgian international earned two Spanish La Liga titles with different clubs; 2014 with Atletico Madrid and 2020 with Real Madrid.
He also helped Real Madrid win the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup.
Courtois, who has 89 caps with Belgium, secured bronze medal in the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia.
